Happy Gregorian New Year. I hope you all landed, at midnight, somewhere moss-soft, glossy with moonlight. I landed in an unexpected health flare and had to cancel all my plans but found myself, although housebound, in a fulvous puddle cast by a candle on my living room floor, pouring over the last edits on my novel The Madonna Secret that comes out this summer.
