These Odes Should Be Eaten

Over the past several years I’ve become known for my non-fiction. But the truth is that my first writing, the writing I counted as haiku syllables on my fingers, was poetry. I went to college for poetry and published several chapbooks that have since gone out of print. Poetry is my first love. I’m hoping in the coming year to find a way to bring some of these poetry collections back into print. In the meantime, I’ll share some of my poems here. They are all love poems to the world. Hands reaching out. Haptic odes.
