I can NOT wait for this...I feel a deep resonance in pain being a return to the body, not a separation from it. My fibromyalgia grows worse each passing year and I am trying to find a way to be present within this story rather than fighting it or resisting at every turn. Medical professionals make me feel some guilt for NOT trying all the latest treatments and drugs and I am just tired. I feel like there has to be another way. I think your book will fill a place that has heretofore been vacant and needing.
I so so understand treatment fatigue and the “widening” of what it means to heal or treat illness the longer it goes on. I am sending you so so much love

While I have not had the kind of health challenges you have faced, I walk a thin line in discerning when the available health care system can be a resource for me and when to say no thanks. I have spent my life sorting through and understanding my resistance to it as a form of embodied wisdom that itself must also be gently questioned and never an all or nothing stance. (One of the delusions of the so-called "healthy and/or able bodied". The dialogue with my body is a daily practice of humility and discernment, especially as aging is part of the equation.
